Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and NammaWallet ("Company," "we," "us"), governing your use of the NammaWallet application and associated services. By registering, accessing, or using NammaWallet, you verify that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
To use NammaWallet, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a resident of India.
- Possess a valid Indian mobile number.
- Have the capacity to enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your login PIN and OTPs. NammaWallet will never ask for your password, PIN, or OTP over phone or email. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Wallet Usage and Payments
(a) Wallet Limits: Your wallet balance and transaction limits are subject to RBI guidelines on Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI).
(b) Loading Funds: You can load funds via UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. We may charge a convenience fee for certain methods, which will be displayed before the transaction.
(c) Bill Payments: While making bill payments (Electricity, Water, etc.), you agree that we act only as an agent. The actual service is provided by the utility board. We are not responsible for disconnection of services if payment is made after the due date.
4. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the app for any illegal or unlawful purpose under Indian laws.
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or manipulate the app's code.
- Use the service for money laundering or financing terrorism.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with NammaWallet are the property of the Company. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal purposes only. "NammaWallet" is a trademark controlled by us.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NammaWallet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Service interruptions due to technical failures or maintenance.
- Unauthorized access to your data despite our security measures.
- Transactions failed due to banking network issues.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified to you via the app or email. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
